YVGG is a boutique market garden producing heirloom vegetables. Zucchini flowers and heirloom tomatoes are two of the signature crops Steve and Meagan specialise in.
The YVGG philosophy is to grow ethically and sustainably, so no synthetic fertilisers, chemical herbicides or chemical pesticides are used.
Products may vary. Please contact Meagan for a current list.
YVGG is now offering a consulting service for design, building and maintenance of on-site kitchen gardens for restaurants.
Set on 27 acres, the property boasts a mix of natural forest, a 10 acre sheep paddock, meandering creek and an aquaponics system harbouring rainbow trout for sustainable lengths we go to in producing vegetables.
We don’t claim to supply to many, but those restaurants and businesses who do support our quaint operation, are forever grateful for the quality in which we grow and which they serve their customers.
YVGG design and maintain productive kitchen gardens that supply fresh and interesting produce to restaurants in and around Victoria’s Yarra Valley. Kitchen gardens can provide a point of difference to other local venues, as well as giving chefs access to fresh fruit and vegetables that might otherwise be either unavailable or expensive.
